Task recurrence

Recurring tasks? No problem! Swift To-Do List is great organizer of recurring tasks. It has very flexible task recurrence support - read on!

Not only there are many patterns of recurrence that you can utilize (daily, weekly, etc), but you can also choose what happens when the task recurs, and optionally receive an email recurrence notification.

Recurrence patterns (intervals)

Recurrence options are very flexible. There are many patterns to choose from:

• Daily
• Weekly
• Monthly
• Monthly on day of the week
• Yearly
• Yearly on day of the week
• Hourly (any number of minutes)
• After Completion (any number of days after the task is done)

It is possible to setup recurrences like: The last Friday of every month, or The first Monday in January, or Every Tuesday and Thursday, or 5 days after the task is completed, or virtually any other pattern.

Recurrence actions

You can actually choose what happens when the task recurs, for each of your tasks individually. You can't do neither in majority of other task management software.

What happens when the task recurs can be one of the following:

• Set the task undone
• Set the task undone and remind me
• Duplicate the task
• Duplicate the task and remind me
• Just remind me - this allows you to create recurrent reminders

Recurring reminders

If you choose "Just remind me" as the recurrence action, you will have a recurring reminder, and you can use all of the recurrence features. Unlimited reminder power! :-)

Recurrent reminders can be used to remind you of birthdays and holidays, or remind you to get up and stretch every couple of hours to prevent repetitive strain injury.
