If you are upgrading from the old Swift To-Do List Lite 1.xx, this guide will help you to migrate smoothly.

First, purchase Swift To-Do List 8 if you have not already purchased it. Click here to purchase Swift To-Do List 8.

If you are upgrading from newer version of Swift To-Do List Lite - 2.xx or higher, then you do not need to read the rest of this guide, as it does not apply. You can simply install the Swift To-Do List 8 over the Lite version, and that's it! Chances are, you are running the modern Lite version, and thus can stop reading now.

You do not need to have Swift To-Do List Lite 1.xx installed in order to migrate to Swift To-Do List 8. All you need is the "Database" folder. The Swift To-Do List Lite uninstallation program will ask you if you want to delete the database folder - you must select "No" if you have not already imported your tasks!

How to migrate to Swift To-Do List 8 from old Swift To-Do List Lite 1.xx

1.Fully exit Swift To-Do List Lite 1.xx if it is running, using menu File -> Exit.

2.Download and install Swift To-Do List 8.

3.Start Swift To-Do List 8.

4.Use the menu: File -> Advanced -> Import Swift To-Do List Lite 1 Database. The program will try to find the "Database" folder with your tasks from the Lite version automatically. If it can't find it, you will be asked to select that folder manually. It is in the same location where the Lite version was installed.

5.Uninstall Swift To-Do List Lite (Note: You do not have to do this, but we recommend it).

6.That's it! You are done. Good job and enjoy Swift To-Do List 8!
