Task Archive

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Task Archive stores all your deleted tasks. Every time you delete a task, it is automatically moved to the Task Archive (unless you used Shift + Delete, which deletes tasks permanently).

How to open the Task Archive

To open the Task Archive, use the menu item Archived Tasks in the Manage menu of the main Swift To-Do List window.

Archive allows you to see the deleted tasks, along with the date they were deleted on. You can also view notes for any of the deleted tasks.

Tip: Right click a task in the Task Archive to display a context menu.

How to recover a task

In the Task Archive dialog, simply select the tasks you would like to recover, and press the Recover button.

How to delete a task forever

If you want to physically delete a task and you do not want to be able to recover it, then:

1.First, you have to delete the task like you usually would
2.Then, open the Task Archive dialog, select the deleted task, and press the Delete button. This task will be deleted forever - you can't undo this!

Automatic archiving of done tasks

You can learn about automatic archiving of done tasks in the next chapter.
