Automatic Archiving

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Since version 8, Swift To-Do List 8 supports automatic archiving of done tasks. This feature is available only in Professional and Ultimate editions.

This feature keeps your to-do list fresh, up-to-date and relevant. Done tasks tend to pile up in our lists, and we usually have to delete them manually. Well, not anymore!

How to enable automatic archiving of done tasks

1.Open Options using menu File - Options.
2.In the Options window, open the Task-View section
3.At the bottom of the Task-View section, check "Automatically archive done tasks"
4.You can optionally specify when the done tasks should get automatically archived. The options available include:
Immediately
The next day
After 2 days
After 3 days
After 7 days
After 14 days
After 30 days
After 60 days
After 90 days
After 180 days
After a year

Finally, press OK and that's it! From now on, done tasks will get automatically archived after the specified amount of days.

You can access or recover them later from the Task Archive.
